RAPID CITY, S.D. - The Pennington County Sheriff's Office say searchers will again resume the effort to find Serenity Dennard last seen on February 3, 2019, on South Rockerville Road.

Officials say the recovery efforts for the nine year old will continue Friday, April 19, with a team of two Colorado K9 teams and about 30-40 people in the area around South Rockerville Road. If necessary, additional search activities will be conducted on Saturday.

Serenity is a Caucasian female, 4 foot 7 inches, 96 pounds, with blue eyes and shoulder length dark blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a long sleeved grey shirt with flowers, blue jeans and black snow boots. She ran away from the Black Hills Children's Home.

In addition to the search efforts, authorities say they maintain an active investigation as investigators continue to follow up on leads and tips.

More than 335 people have been interviewed including potential out-of-state sightings.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Serenity Dennard, please contact the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office at (605) 394-6115.
