LUDLOW, S.D. – The South Dakota Highway Patrol says there were no major injuries in a car vs cow collision in Harding County early Thursday morning.

The driver involved in a car versus cow crash in northwest South Dakota is okay, according the local sheriff's office.

The patrol says at about 1 a.m. Thursday, Harding County deputies arrived at the scene of a car versus cattle crash at Ludlow Road and Ralph Road, about 15 miles east of Ludlow. The calves did not have any ear tags or brands and were not claimed by nearby owners.

The sheriff's office said later on Thursday they believe to have found the owner of the cows.
