RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police are investigating the discovery of a deceased individual found near Rapid Creek Thursday morning.
Police say there does not appear to be any initial signs of trauma, but an autopsy will be performed to hopefully determine cause of death.
Police are labeling it as an unattended death as an investigation has begun.
The body was discovered around 7:30 a.m. in an area just west of Founder’s Park.
