Yankton's outside shooting too much for Rapid City Central

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Matthew Mors scored 38 points, and Yankton outscored Rapid City Central 29-24 in the second half to punch their ticket to Saturday night's boys Class AA Championship game.

Yankton shot 52-percent, and hit 7 of 21 from beyond the 3-point arc to pick up the win.

Mors couldn't miss for the Bucks. He shot 12-19 from the floor and 12-13 from the free throw line. He also pulled down 7 rebounds.

Central, on the other, had a tough night shooting. Kaileb Walton-Blanden scored 19 points, but Dylan Hay led the Cobblers with 20 points.

Yankton outscored Central in the paint -- scoring 26 points compared to Central's 10.

Central will play Stevens for third place Saturday. Yankton pays Harrsiburg for the championship.
