|Medical condition suspected as cause of death of Sturgis boy

STURGIS, S.D. - Authorities in Butte County say a 12-year-old boy died Wednesday night from what appears to be a medical condition related to asthma.
In a news release, the Butte County Sheriff's Office says they were called to a home in Vale shortly before 8:00 p.m. because a child was not breathing.
The sheriff's office says the boy, 12-year-old Jaden Paklin of Sturgis, was visitiing his grandparents' home at the time.
Officials say there is no indication of foul play and an autopsy has been scheduled.
Life flight was called in and the boy was taken to Sturgis Hospital, where he died.
Funeral services for Paklin will be 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Believers Fellowship Church in Sturgis. Burial follows at the Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
