Rebekah Anne "Becky" Cummings, 63, previously of Upton, WY, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017, surrounded by her family in Osage, WY.

Becky was born November 26, 1953, in Greybull, WY, to Nancy Lee Carey and Wayne Curtis Hodson.  In 1958, her mom married Becky's true dad, Don Jones.  In 1959, they moved to Upton, WY, to help her grandparents with the Jones' truck stop where she had worked while going to school.  Becky graduated Upton High School in 1973.  As a child, Becky loved spending time and being spoiled by her aunt, Becky, who she had also been named after.

In 1975, she gave birth to her first son, Chad Michael Hodson.  She married Harold (Buzz) Cummings in 1976.  Together their son, Joseph Richard Cummings, was born in 1977.  Becky enjoyed spending time with her boys and being on the back of a Harley even though she would always fall asleep.  Becky also had a great love for pigs and roosters.

Becky was so excited when her grandbabies were born.  They were her world.  She had a special bond with each and every one of them.  It was rare to see her without at least one grandbaby.  In 2010, her best friend was born, Abigayle Serenity Cummings.  They were inseparable.

Although Becky had worked many different jobs, she was excited when she became employed with the Weston County School District #7.  She loved her job as a janitor.  Her favorite times at work were when she got to see all the children.  She would always give them hugs.  Fridays were her most favorite.  She would wait in the lobby, for the last bell to ring so she could give all the children a hug and a piece of candy for the weekend.  Her name was never Miss Becky at work, it was Grandma.

July 2016, Becky was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer.  Becky made the decision to go through with the treatment so she could see her oldest 3 grandbabies graduate High School; also to see her youngest son marry the love of his life, Kelly Lye.  Becky had a huge heart.  So much love for anyone that was in her life.  Becky loved giving and receiving hugs.

Becky is survived by two sons, Chad (Bridgette) Hodson and Joseph (Kelly) Cummings; four brothers, Carey Jo (Catherine) Hodson, Jerry (Tracy) Jones, Jim (Terri) Jones, and Richard Hodson; four sisters, Kelly Lynn (Duane) Alexander, LaDonna (Bob) Hatch, Betty Jean (Monty) Mavity, and Wendy (Ralph) Page; eleven grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Jason) Hodson, Austin Hodson, Kelsie (Garrhett) Hodson, Tyler Cummings, Skyler Grenstiner, Amber Cummings, Wesley Cummings, Hailey Philipsen, Abigayle Cummings, Chelsea Hammond, and Dylan Echo Hammond; aunt, Sally and uncle, Frank Esquivel; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alva (Lathum) Carey, John Joseph and Clair (Hecht) Carey; her parents, Nancy (Carey) and Don Jones, and Wayne Hodson; aunt, Becky (Lathum) Emmit; nephew, Dustin Alexander; and cousin, Ron Esquivel.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017, at the Upton Elementary School Auditorium with Pastor Zach Davis officiating.  Inurnment will be at a later date.
