Williston planning use for old airport|

WILLISTON, N.D. - The city of Williston is deciding how to redevelop Sloulin Field International Airport after it is replaced by a new airport.
The Williston Herald reports that preliminary discussion regarding the conceptual layout of Sloulin Field property recently began between city leaders and Cardon Global.
The company says the 850 acres at the airfield is roughly the size of Central Park in New York City and thoughtful planning is needed if the conversion is to be successful.
Williston already has started construction on a $240 million airport northwest of the oil patch hub. The new Williston Basin International Airport is expected to be completed in the fall of 2018.
