Sturgis Fire Crews help knock down fire near Black Hills National Cemetery

STURGIS, S.D. - Great Plains Fire Dispatch says various state and local resources battled a wildfire in the Black Hills Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldog Fire burned a reported one-and-a-half to 2 acres south of Black Hills National Cemetery in the Bulldog Gulch area.

Sturgis Fire Crews were among those battling the fire and say great teamwork has helped bring the fire under control.

Smoke from the fire could be seen from Sturgis Saturday afternoon.

It's believed lightning started the fire.
