Phillip W. Bringer, 82, passed away on September 3, 2017, at his home.

Born August 4, 1935, to John W. and Lena Bringer in Argonia, Kansas.

He served in the US Army from 1958 to 1964.  After that he went to work in the oil fields of Colorado.  Then returned to Wichita to work for Boing Air Craft Company, then was sent to Rapid City to repair the B52 Bombers.  After that he worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator.

He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union for over 40 years.  And a member of the Eagle Club, American Legion, and DAV.

He married Lillian Portner Hansen in 1961 and together they enjoyed camping, fishing, and good times with friends, family, and their dogs Prince, Benji, and Lady.

Preceded in death by his parents, John and Lena; brothers, Melvin and Gary; sisters, Naomi, Ann, Imogene, Marritta, Mary Lou, and Willetta; step daughters, Beverly and Dee; grandson, Chris Kelly; and his wife, Lilliann.

A private family service will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery for him and Lilliann.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
