Rapid City police investigating casino armed robbery

RAPID CITY, S.D. - Police in Rapid City are searching for a suspect that held up a casino on Tuesday night.

Authorities say a man entered the Uncle Sam's Casino on West Main Street around 6:30 p.m. and showed a gun. The suspect got away with cash. The estimated amount is less than $1,000.

They are looking for a male suspect described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall; in his 20s to 30s. He was wearing a blue hoodie, gloves, black shoes with white soles, and had his face covered with some sort of black material.

Anyone with any information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect can call Det. Steve Neavill at 394-4134. People can also send an anonymous tip by texting ‘RCPD and the info the 847411.

No injuries were reported.
