|Man charged with killing infant makes court appearance

RAPID CITY, S.D. - A Rapid City man accused of killing an infant was back in court Wednesday for an evidentiary hearing.
Kristopher Houchin in charged with second degree murder in the death of 6-month-old L’Naya Love White.
A total of 6 witnesses testified in court Wednesday during an evidentiary hearing.
Witnesses testified that Houchin admitted to shaking Love White at least twice the day she died and once the night before.
Houchin has said the child may have gotten her injuries after falling off a couch or hitting her head while being shaken.
One of the witnesses, a psychologist, says he evaluated Houchin's mental state who appeared to be of clear mind and able to stand trial.
Houchin is currently out on bond and on house arrest. He is ordered to have no contact with the victim's family.
