St Thomas More places three on All Tournament Team

BROOKINGS, S.D. - The St Thomas More Cavaliers placed three players on the Class A Girls Basketball All Tournament Team.

They were Aislinn Duffy, Jayden Bies, and Dru Gylten.

Other players selected were Paula Yellow Boy (Little Wound), Jayda Knuppe (Dell Rapids), Jessi Giles (Madison), Lexi Wadsworth (Hamlin), Kasey Jensen (Vermillion), Haley Rithmiller (Webster), Madysen Vlastuin (Lennox), Riley Peters (Lennox), Rianna Fillipi (Lennox).

Winning the Spirit of Six Cheerleading Award at the Class A Tournament was Madison. Janay Jumping Eagle of Little Wound captured the Spirit of Su Award.

The All Tournament Team at the Class B Tournament were: Loryn Schoelerman, Timber Lake; Cheylee Nagel, Avon; Lauren Hunstad, Parker; Brianna Philipsen and Jaedyn Finkbeiner, New Underwood; Laurie Rogers, Warner; (Back L-R) Rachel Hawkins and Kacey Bartscher, Ethan; Myah Selland and Kayla Olson, Sandborn Central/Woonsocket; Racquel Wientjes and Chloe Lamb, Sully Buttes.

Winning the Spirit of Six at the State B were the cheerleaders from Ethan. Winning the Spirit of Su Award was Myah Selland of Sanborn Central.
