|St Thomas More wins consolation game; Harding County to play for seventh

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - At the Class A Boys Basketball Tournament, St Thomas More beat Chamberlain 51-48 in the consolation semifinals.
The Cavaliers jumped out to a 14-8 lead in the first quarter, but saw Chamberlain outscore them 13-9 in the second. Chamberlain would close to within seven in the third quarter, but St Thomas More outscored Chamberlain 20-16 in the fourth to pull away for the victory.
Jake Satter led the Cavaliers with 16 points.
St Thomas More will play Dakota Valley in the consolation championship Saturday. Dakota Valley defeated Mt Vernon/Plankinton to earn their trip to the championship.
And, at the State B Boys Tournament, Harding County lost their consolation semifinal matchup to Langford, 43-37.
Harding County will play Platte-Geddes for seventh place Saturday. Platte-Geddes lost to White River 60-50.
Jarret Jenson led Harding County with 15 points. Sam Podzimek added 10 for the Ranchers.
