RAPID CITY, S.D. – A Rapid City man has been sentenced to prison for a series of violent incidents at Walmart.

William Thunder Hawk, 30, was given two concurrent 15-year-term prison terms.

Thunder Hawk’s charges stem from events in 2023, including breaking into Walmart and threatening a staff member with a knife.

Thunder Hawk faced a maximum of 41 years of incarceration for his charges, but a plea agreement resulted in the dismissal of additional charges as a habitual offender.
