RAPID CITY, S.D. – Post 22 ended Sunday’s Firecracker tournament on a high note with a 5-1 win over Pinnacle Bank in the 3rd place game.
Philip Bentz, Hayden Holec, Alex Dietrich, Harrison Good and Aiden Roberts each collected a hit for Post 22. Holec and Good each drove in two runs and Jace Morgan led Post 22 with three walks.
The Hardhats went 4-2 throughout the tournament, pushing them to a 45-12 record on the season.
Post 22 is back in action next Saturday, July 7, against Brandon Valley Post 131.
In the Firecracker championship game, DC Electric edged out Missoula 4-3.
