RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rodeo Rapid City hosted the annual 20X High School Rodeo Sunday at the Stock Show.
Highmore senior Dale Forman won the barrel racing in a time of 14.20 seconds.
Kaston Ford, a sophmore at Sturgis Brown, won the bareback riding with a 74 point ride.
Another sophmore, Mataya Ward, won the breakaway roping in a time of 3.5 seconds.
In steer wrestling, Cayden Floyd took top honors with a 4.3 second take down and in the pole bending, Tommie Martin of Howes won in a time of 19.60 seconds.
Tate Hoffman of Highmore won the tie down in 18.3 seconds, Layni Stevens of St. Lawrence captured the goat tying in 7.2 second and Sage Burress and partner Rope Roghair won the got the team roping title.
In bull riding, Jestyn Woodward had a 79 point ride to win the gold buckle. Woodward is from Custer.
