City of Sturgis says Good Deeds Program very successful

STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Good Deeds Program is quickly becoming very popular among the elderly and those living with critical conditions.

This program allows Sturgis residents to call the Library to place an order for groceries and other necessities as well as library materials. When an order is placed, staff and volunteers do the shopping and deliver the items to the resident.

Individuals who want to use this service are asked to contact the library by calling 347-2624.

Orders will be taken from 8AM until 4PM Monday – Thursday and up until 1:00 on Fridays. All deliveries will be finished by 5:00 on Fridays. Deliveries will not be made over the weekend.
