Day four Rally traffic counts down 6.8-percent from 2019

STURGIS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation says it was another down day on their traffic counters Monday.

The D-O-T, in their daily rally vehicle count, says 56, 972 vehicles entered Sturgis on Monday – a 6.8-percent decrease from 2019.

The four-day total so far is 217,778. That is down 4.6-percent from 2019.

The D.O.T.’s traffic counters are located at nine locations entering Sturgis.

So far, the only up day over last year is Sunday – a 1.1-percent increase over 2019.
