Five children were born to them; James, Clifford, Patricia, Diane, and Annette.  They moved to Rapid City, SD, in 1962, then to Piedmont, SD, in 1963.  In June of 2016, Esther sold her home in Piedmont and moved in with her daughter, Annette, in Sturgis, where she resided until the time of her death.
