UNDATED – The Boys Class A and Class B SoDak 16 wrapped up Tuesday, setting the stage for the upcoming state tournament.
In Class B, the Faith Longhorns punched their ticket to the state tournament with a big overtime win over Marty Indian. The 11th seeded Longhorns upset the sixth seeded Marty 81-76. The win gives Faith championship fever as both girls and boys have punched tickets to state. The Lady Longhorns play Howard at 1:45 Thursday to open up the girls Class B Tournament in Spearfish.
Also in Class B, White River punched their ticket to state with a 59-46 win over Lyman.
In Class A, St Thomas More punched their ticket to state with a 64-51 win over Clark/Willow Lake.
Other West River teams didn’t fare as well. Custer fell to Crow Creek 68-51, Pine Ridge lost to Tiospa Zina Tribal 64-55 and Red Cloud dropped a 68-62 game to Madison.
