Post 22 runs past Post 320 in battle of Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Post 22 won the battle of Rapid City Tuesday night at the Hardhats and post 320 squared off at Fitzgerald Stadium.

The Hardhats scored six runs in the first inning and went onto beat the Stars, 11-2.

Post 22 now leads the all-time series, 36-1.

Jake Goble went 2-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and four RBIs for Post 22.

Thomas Maguire also had 2 RBIs.

Post 320 had seven hits in the game. Gage Darrow, Logan Ammerman and Wyatt Hunt each managed two hits a piece.

Dylan Richey earned the victory on the mound for Post 22. He allowed seven hits and two runs over six innings, striking out nine.

The Hardhats improve to 10-5 while the Stars fall to 6-10.
