Post 22 wins one, loses one at Creighton Tournament

UNDATED – Rapid City Post 22 picked up a win and a loss at the Creighton Prep Tournament Sunday.

In their first game, the Hardhats lost to Brandon Valley Post 131 6-3.

Brandon Valley jumped out to a 6-0 lead and the Hardhats couldn’t complete the comeback.

Colton Hartford helped lead Post 22 with 2 hits.

In the second game, Post 22 scored two runs in the top of the ninth to pick up a hard earned 10-8 win over Creighton Prep.

The two teams battled into the extra innings, exchanging the lead several times.

Jake Goble and Bransen Kuehl each had two hits for the Hardhats and Blake Weaver had 4 R.B.I.’s.

Post 22 is 9-5 on the season.
