RC Central girls’ basketball coach Kraig Bloome steps down

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Central is searching for a new girls basketball coach.

Athletic Director Jordan Bauer announced this past week that Kraig Bloome has resigned.

Bauer stated they would begin the search process immediately to find “our next girls’ basketball coach.”

Bloome had been the Central girls’ coach for 20 seasons. He compiled a 226-239, win-loss record while there.

His best season was in 2011 when the Cobbler girls’ finished third at the State Basketball tournament.
