UNDATED – In legion baseball Saturday, Rapid City Post 320 split a pair of games with Bellevue East and Papillion La-Vista.
The Stars got a 4-3 win over Bellevue courtesy of Tate Walker’s 2 R.B.I.’s. The Stars brought in the winning run in the fifth inning and held off a seventh inning comeback attempt by Bellevue.
In the second game of the day, the Stars dropped an 11-3 matchup with Papillion La-Vista.
Rapid City Post 22, in the meantime, dropped a 7-5 game to West Fargo.
The Hardhats were down 7-2 headed into the bottom of the seventh inning and attempted to make a comeback, but fell short by two runs.
Jake Goble picthed six strong innings for Post 22 and striking out six.
