Rapid City Central wins Sturgis Cheer and Dance Invite

STURGIS, S.D. – Rapid City Central won both the cheer and overall dance titles at the Sturgis Spirit Competition Monday night.

The Cobblers won the cheer competition with 141 points. Winner finished in second with 124 and Hot Springs won third with 114.5 points.

The home team Scoopers finished in fifth with 107 points. Douglas was fourth.

Rapid City Central won the overall dance title with a total of 313.5 points. Winner was second with 129.75 and Sturgis was third with 123.50.

The Cobblers won the Hip Hop and Pom competition while Winner won the Kick competition.
