Rapid City Post 22 wins their 43rd State Title with 9-1 win over Brandon Valley

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats won their 43rd State Title Sunday as they captured the South Dakota American Legion Championship.

Post 22 rolled to a 9-1 win over Brandon Valley. It was their second win over the Lynx in as many days.

Post 22 was led by Dalton Klosterman who went 2-for-3 at the plate and had two RBIs.

Dylan Richey also had two RBIs for the Hardhats.

Jake Goble took the pitching win for Post 22. He surrendered one run on five hits over five and a third innings, striking out seven.

Post 22 wraps up the season with a record of 37-10.
