STURGIS, S.D. With their season over, the Sturgis Scooper girls basketball team held their annual awards night Thursday.

Award winners were as follows:

Offensive MVP: Sarah Janz
Defensive MVP: Megan Petrocco
Secretary of Assists: Tatum Lightenburg
Scooper Award: Kylie Shaw
Chairman of the Boards: Kaylee Whatley
Rookie of the Year: Sawyer Dennis
Most Improved: Lexi Long
