UNDATED – With the COVID-19 pandemic causing many people to borrow more or fall behind on payments, the personal-finance website WalletHub analyzed the average credit scores of residents in all 50 states and just released its report on 2020’s States with the Highest & Lowest Credit Scores, along with accompanying videos and audio files.

The average credit score in South Dakota is 707, which ranks 5^th highest in the U.S.
