State reports 95 new positive cases for COVID-19 Sunday; 3 in Meade County

PIERRE, S.D. – There were 95 new positive tests for COVID-19 in the Department of Health’s Sunday report.

Pennington County saw 14 additional cases, sending their cumulative total to 152. There are now 125 active cases.

Meade County recorded 3 new positive cases in the Sunday report. The county now has six active cases.

The statewide number of active cases rose to 1,142 Sunday from Saturday’s 1,082.

The number of people hospitalized is down five from yesterday to 85.

Total recoveries are at 3,371, 35 more than Saturday.

The state reported no additional deaths Sunday. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths remains at 50.
