Two fires burned nearly 50 acres southeast of Wall

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Great Plains Fire Dispatch says firefighters knocked down a couple of wildfires in the Wall area Saturday.

The Imlay Fire burned approximately 12.3 acres southeast of Wall. The fire was reported Friday night and contained on Saturday. The cause of the fire was under investigation.

Another fire in the area, dubbed the Conata Fire, burned 35 acres southeast of Wall. It was sparked Friday afternoon and contained on Saturday.

Great Plains Fire lists the cause of that fire under investigation as well.

A thid fire, the Flint Hill Fire, burned just under an acre 2.5 miles nothwest of Cascade Springs.
