Wrestling Wrap – Stevens wins two at East West

PIERRE, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens won two duals at the East West Duals in Pierre Saturday.

The Raiders edged Harrisburg 35-34 and rolled over Sioux Falls Roosevelt 58-21.

Stevens dropped a 39-27 decision to Pierre and fell 39-33 to Brandon Valley.

Rapid City Central went 1-3 at the competiton.

The Cobblers dropped three duals to Harrisburg (36-35, Brandon Valley (39-28) and Pierre (49-22).

Central’s lone win was 52-23 victory over Sioux Falls Roosevelt.

In other wrestling action, Mitchell won the top spot at the River City Rumble Saturday.

Mitchell led the team standings with 228.5 points. Chamberlain was second with 212 and Huron was third with a 158.

Belle Fourche led area teams with a seventh place finish.
