CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Restrictions on public gathering and businesses to try to limit the spread of the coronavirus could be in effect longer than planned in Wyoming.
Through April 3, Gov. Mark Gordon has prohibited gatherings of more than 10 people at a time and shut down a range of businesses, from museums to tattoo shops.
Gordon said at a news conference everybody knows the situation will not be over by the first week of April.
Wyoming so far has no statewide or local stay-at-home order, and Gordon says he hopes to avoid one. Testing confirms at least 44 cases of the coronavirus in Wyoming.
