ABERDEEN, S.D. – Aberdeen Central remain unbeaten as they rolled to an 81-32 win over Sturgis Saturday night.
The Golden Eagles started quickly and jumped on top of the Scoopers early, never looking back.
Aberdeen Central outscored the Scoopers 33-9 in the second quarter to take a commanding 44-13 lead into the halftime lockeroom.
Sturgis had 21 turnovers that resulted in 28 of Aberdeen Central’s points in the first half and the Scoopers finished the game with 34 turnovers total.
Owen Cass led the Scoopers in scoring with 6 points.
Noah Behrends led Aberdeen Central in scoring.
The Golden Eagles are 3-0 on the season while the Scoopers drop to 0-3.
