Annie’s Project Leadership Course Returns To South Dakota

BRITTON, S.D. – The well-received program, Annie’s Project, gives women in the agricultural sector another opportunity this fall. Scheduled to commence on October 16, 2023, the program takes place at the Marshall County Community Center, Britton, South Dakota. Robin Salverson, an expert from SDSU Extension, highlights the program’s potential to address unresolved queries many women encounter in the field.

Annie’s Project concentrates on empowering women through a mix of education, robust networking, and handy resources. In a light-hearted, supportive setting, attendees will gain insights into various crucial areas like financial record keeping, marketing strategies, planning for retirement, and estate management. Notably, the course also imparts pivotal communication skills.

The program stretches over six weeks, with subsequent sessions scheduled for October 23, 30, and November 6, 13, and 20. Each meeting takes place from 5:30 p.m. CDT till 8:45 p.m. All women interested are advised to participate in the entirety of the series.

To join, go online to extension.sdstate.edu/events by October 9 and simply look up “Annie”. A registration fee of $150 covers the cost, inclusive of meals during each session. The program this season enjoys sponsorship from Hurley and Associates, based in Britton.
