RAPID CITY, S.D. – It was Angus day at the Black Hills Stock Show Monday, and it was another successful sale as 35 lots of bulls sold for a grand total of $198,250.
There were also 14 heifers that sold for a grand total of $58,350.
The top selling Angus bull sold for $19,500 and the top selling heifer sold for $9,500.
Top selling bull, Chestnut Angus, was purchased by Mangan Angus of Broadus, Montana and the top selling heifer, Plains Cree 20-674, was purchased by Terry Pritchard of Aurora, South Dakota.
Average selling price for the bulls was $5,664 and the average selling price for the heifers was $4,167.
