Annual Touch A Truck event held Sat. in Sturgis

STURGIS, S.D. – After being rained out in 2023, both young and old enjoyed this year’s Touch A Truck event held at the Sturgis Community Center parking lot.

Touch A Truck, presented by LifeSpring Wesleyan Church of Sturgis, gave kids and adults the opportunity to see some of their favorite trucks and equipment up close.

Kids got the chance to meet first responders, construction & utility workers, and others who keep our community running smoothly. They got a chance to take an up-close look at the interesting vehicles and equipment used in many career fields.

The opportunity to climb inside the cab of the vehicle and interact with the heroes that drive and operate them was taken by many Saturday.

The annual event also featured entertainment and food.
