Authorities identify man killed in crash near Oral

ORAL, S.D.- Authorities have identified a 65-year-old man who died in a single motorcycle crash last Wednesday evening near Oral, SD.

Preliminary crash information indicates Derald N. Bledsoe of Oral, the driver of a 2004 Harley Davidson Softail, was traveling east on West Oral Road. The motorcycle left the roadway and traveled through the ditch, separating the driver from the motorcycle. Bledsoe was not wearing a helmet and sustained fatal injuries from the crash.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
