Authorities identify man killed in Haakon County crash

BILLSBURG, S.D. – A Philip, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died early Friday night in a one-vehicle crash east of Billsburg.

A 2005 Toyota Tundra was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 34 when it left the roadway, hit an approach and eventually rolled.

Wallace Neville, the 68-year-old driver, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
