RAPID CITY, S.D. – Severe weather dropped golf ball to baseball size hail on parts of Pennington County Thursday night.
The National Weather Service Office in Rapid City says large hail damaged hundreds of cars and R.V.’s 7 miles east of Rockerville in the Hart Ranch area.
Pictures of hail the size of lemons have been posted on social media sites.
Smaller hail was reported in downtown Rapid City.
