RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Post 22 Expos scored a 13-0 victory over the Rapid City Post 320 Risers Thursday morning.
The Expos scored four runs in the first and second innings, then added 3 in the third and 2 in the fourth to end the game after four.
Koby Denke pitched a no-hitter for Post 22, who were led by Alex Dietrich’s 3 hits and 2 R.B.I.
Denke struck out nine batters in his four innings of work.
In their second game of the day, the Risers got a victory, as they defeated Spearfish 10-2.
Jacob Smiley had 4 R.B.I. to help lead the Risers.
RAPID CITY, S.D. – In other baseball action today, the Post 22 Bullets rolled to a 22-7 victory of the Sturgis Riders.
The game ended after four innings after the Bullets scored five runs in the first, six in the second, one in the third and 10 in the fourth.
Jonah Blake had 3 hits and 3 R.B.I. to help lead the Bullets.
In their afternoon contest, the Riders dropped a 10-0 contest to the Post 22 Expos.
The Expos did most of their damage in the second inning, scoring 7 runs.
The Riders had 4 hits on the day, but couldn’t get anybody across home plate.
