Belinda J. McCullers, 76, passed away December 25, 2024, in Rapid City, South Dakota.
Belinda was born in Dallas, Texas on April 1, 1948, to Floyd and Lou (Williams) Moore. She grew up in Fort Worth, TX graduating from Polytechnic High School in 1967. She then went on to Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth. In November of 1967 she married David McCullers Sr. and together they had three children, they later divorced. In 1981 Belinda moved to Bay City, TX, there she was a bookkeeper in the motel business for many years. She then worked at the women’s crisis center in Bay City for 12 years before retiring.
She moved to South Dakota in 2015, although she did not like the cold she enjoyed being near her daughter. Belinda enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and watching Gunsmoke with her son-in-law.
Belinda is survived by her sons, David McCullers Jr. and Raymond McCullers, Texas; daughter, Jennifer (Billy Ray) Trahan, South Dakota; step-daughter, Sheri Patman, Texas; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers, John Martin and Michel Martin, both of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and one great grandchild.
