BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – Area athletes competed at the Belle Fourche Invitational Track and Field Meet Saturday.
In Boys results:
Blake Boyster of Custer won the 100 and 400 meters, Cael Thorn of St Thomas More captured the 200, Keenen Urdales of Spearfish won the 800 and 1,600 and Sawyer Clarkson took the 3,200 meters.
Mikael Grace of Custer won both the 110 and 300-meter hurdles.
Belle Fourche won the 4×100 and 4×800 meter relay. Spearfish won both the 4×200 and 4×400 meter relay.
In field events, Gabe Bushong of Faith won the shot put, Jason Maciejczak of Douglas captured the discus, Braden Delahoyde of Spearfish won the high jump, Carson Diedrich of Spearfish won the pole vault, Aiden Giffin of Belle Fourche won the long jump and Gage Tennyson of Custer won the triple jump.
In Girls events:
Cerington Jones of New Underwood won both the 100 and 200 meters, Paetyn Carlin of St Thomas More won the 400 meters, Abby Cutler of Hill City won the 800 meters, Alissa Wieman of Douglas captured the 1,600 and Jade Ecoffey of Red Cloud won the 3,200.
In the hurdles, Anna Lewis of Custer won the 100 meter and Maria Bouman of Spearfish took the 300 meters.
In the relay races, Spearfish won the 4×100 and 4×800, and Hill City won the 4×200 and 4×400.
In field events, Hannah Golder of Custer won the shot put, Taylor Henrichs of Custer won the discus, Maria Bouman of Spearfish won the high jump, Madeline Cross of Spearfish won the pole vault, Cerington Jones of New Underwood captured the long jump, and Bella Jensen of Belle Fourche won the triple jump.
