BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – Both Belle Fourche girls and boys won the team title of their home cross country meet on Thursday.
The Bronc boys won with 47 points, with Custer finishing in second and Douglas capturing third.
The Bronc girls won the team title with 41 points followed by Sturgis in second and Custer in third.
Winning the boys race was Lane Krautschun of Belle Fourche in a time of 16:45.74. A pair of Douglas Patriots captured second and third with Peyton Case in second and Wyatt Balliew in third.
Winning the girls race was Karly Riley of Lemmon with a time of 21:23.89. Lia Mundt of Belle Fourche was second and Hallie Person of Lead-Deadwood was third. Keelin Dinkins of Sturgis placed 6th with her teammate Emilie Reedy finishing behind her in 7th.
