DENVER, Colo. – On a windy day in Denver with gusts nearing 50 miles per hour, the Black Hills State University softball team (12-21, 11-17 RMAC) dropped the first two games of the series against the Regis Rangers (24-14, 20-8 RMAC) Sunday afternoon.
Ashlynn Pauwels hit a pair of home runs in Game 1, as Regis went on to win 13 to 5 in six innings.
Laci Peskey set a new career-high with seven strike outs in her Game 2 start as Regis won 12 to 8.
