SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State football ended its season Saturday afternoon, falling to Chadron State, 57-6 on Senior Day at Lyle Hare Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets (4-7, 2-7 RMAC) conclude their 2021 season, totaling 312 yards of offense and two fumble recoveries.
Nolan Susel hauled in a 42-yard touchdown pass, and finished with 15 rushing attempts for 77 yards.
On defense, Cody Hooker and Aaron Thiele each made 10 tackles while Lathen Stevens had nine and Doodles Quinones made seven.
After the Eagles scored early with a touchdown and field goal, Eben found Susel for a 42-yard touchdown reception, making it 9-6 with 2:41 left in the first.
It was all CSC the rest of the way, outscoring BHSU 48-0 over the final three quarters before the game went final, 57-6.
