BHSU men and women fall to Timberwolves

PUEBLO, CO – Black Hills State men’s basketball dropped its Saturday night game to CSU Pueblo, 82-59.

The Yellow Jackets (15-5, 13-2 RMAC) shot at a 40 percent clip and surrendered 13 turnovers.

Sindou Cisse, Joel Scott and Adam Moussa all scored in the double digits, scoring 17, 16 and 13, respectively.

Scott led the team with seven rebounds while Cisse led with two blocks and a steal.

Sava Dukic led the way with four assists to go along with his two points.

Meanwhile,

Black Hills State women’s basketball fell to CSU Pueblo 70-56 in the Donald E Young Center Saturday afternoon.

Black Hills State (13-8, 11-4 RMAC) sit tied for fourth in the RMAC with MSU Denver and Colorado Mesa after falling to the Thunderwolves Saturday night.

Danica Kocer led the Yellow Jackets in scoring for the second night in a row with 12 points. Kocer also snagged two steals and a rebound throughout the contest.

Defensively, freshman Haylee Weathersby led the team pulling in eight boards. Weathersby also tallied eight points for BHSU.
