CHADRON, Neb. – In a battle of one of the top perimeter shooting teams and one of the top perimeter defending teams in the country, Chadron State held Black Hills State to just 31.3 percent from beyond the arc in the contest in a 90-77 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night in the Chicoine Center.
In the process of holding the Yellow Jackets’ 3-point shooting in check, CSC came out of the halftime break shooting lights out as they shot 61.5 percent from the field and 53.9 percent from deep in the half to out-score BHSU 51-36 in the frame.

SPEARFISH, S.D. –  The Black Hill State Yellow Jacket women’s basketball team lost their third game in a row and fourth in the last five Thursday night losing to Chadron State by a score of 60-50.
The 11-7 (7-4 RMAC) Yellow Jackets struggled again offensively today only putting up 50 points and not making a three until mid-third quarter. Chadron State 4-14 (3-9 RMAC) went 4/10 from three and despite a 16-3 run in the third in the Yellow Jackets, they were able to outscore the Yellow Jackets by nine in both the first and fourth quarters to win in the Chicoine Center in Chadron, Nebraska.
