SPEARFISH, S.D. – Black Hills State men’s basketball used a big second half to lift them to a 74-53 victory over Chadron State on Senior night.
The Yellow Jackets (7-5, 7-5 RMAC) held the Eagles to only 35.7 percent shooting from the field in the well-rounded victory.
Sindou Cisse, Joel Scott and Trey Whitley each totaled 15 points to lead the team. Whitley grabbed a team-best seven boards, while Cisse and Scott each grabbed six.
Adam Moussa tallied two steals and a block to go along with eight points, four rebounds and a team-leading three assists.

Twelve Yellow Jackets score against the Eagles in route to a 59-39 victory at the Donald E. Young Center Tuesday night.
The Yellow Jackets came out hot in the first quarter starting five of six seniors on the team. After a missed shot by both teams, Kassie Hoyer got on the board first with a layup to open up scoring for BHSU. Once the Yellow Jackets got on the board, they would not slow down for the entirety of the first quarter maintaining outstanding defensive play and outscoring the Eagles 22-6.
The Yellow Jackets would not let up on defense in the second quarter pulling in 11 boards and tallying two steals. Meanwhile on offense the Yellow Jackets would open up scoring taking a 28-point lead over the Eagles led by sophomore Niki Van Wyk who recorded 11 points in the first half.
