HOW IT HAPPENED- GAME 2
•     Both pitchers started the game strong with Paige Goodell making her first career start. She only allowed two hits through three innings, before running into trouble in the bottom of the fourth. She allowed back-to-back home runs to lead off the inning, with Ashley Akers and Avery Gray hitting the shots, which gave MSUB a 2-0 lead, She then allowed a single to Dypwick, who stole second and then made it home on a single from Nieto, before Goodell was replaced by Malaya Coleman. Coleman allowed an immediate double to Galvin, which scored Nieto to make it 4-0 MSUB.

Lance grounded out to advance Maley and Tyler Whitlock hit a double to score both runners and cut the lead to 4-2.
•    The margin didn’t last long as after getting the leadoff batter to flyout, Coleman allowed a single to Avery Gray, before Jazlyn Kalehuawehe hit a two-run homer to bring the lead to 6-2. Skylar Bedlan came in to finish the inning and successfully did.
