CHADRON, Neb. – Black Hills State women’s basketball defeated Chadron State 58-46 Tuesday evening on the road in Chadron, Neb.
The Yellow Jackets (16-8, 14-4 RMAC) took the lead with 7:18 to play in the first quarter and never looked back as they held the lead for the rest of the contest.
Danica Kocer led the offense for BHSU racking up 22 points, four rebounds, and three steals.
Defensively Haylee Weathersby led the team with five boards. Weathersby also scored nine points for the Yellow Jackets.
The men were also scheduled to play Tuesday night, but the game was postponed.
